  • Great work, I really like your control!

    If I can offer any advice I would say don't stress the first note in each passage, for example the very first note in the piece. I think it sounds better if you focus on stressing beat one in each measure rather than the pick up note - this just makes more rhythmical sense to the listener - it's something that I had to change when I learned this piece but I found it to greatly improve it's sound :D

  • Thank you, Beachapeeater, for the good advice. It's a bit of a mystery to me that 18th century material has always been my greatest challenge. And you are right, this movement needs to be a little quicker and much lighter, with a little stress on the beat of each of those motifs. Thanks again.
