Because the triceratops is classically known as Slag while the stegosaurus is known as Snarl.

just got this figure in today...incase anyone cant figure out the should flame thing, theres a tiny button on the back of each shoulder that activates the flames...now if only his legs one stay pegged together in robot mode :/

Slag became Snarl, because in the UK the term 'Slag' is another name for a woman who 'gets around', if you know what I mean.

could the name have changed because since they wanted to throw in small g1 tidbits to TFA (like Spike,Carly,and Daniel) since swoop and snarl were built together and slag was a fan fav maybe they combined the idea
