Thalhimers 1-day Christmas sale Commercial 1986

This one might bring back memories of those of us in North Carolina and Virginia who were kids before the 1990s and were dragged to the malls by our mothers. And you might even remember Snow Bear, the lovable ursine who apparently gave out stickers. I don't, and I looked it up on Wikipedia. So sue me.

There were several stores throughout NC and VA. The one I remember is the one at Northgate Mall in Durham. The chain got bought out by Hecht's, and the location in Durham is now a movie theatre.

I remember the one at Military Circle, in Norfolk.

@ziggyboi1995 The Thalhimers in Hampton became a Hechts and then a Macys. It is the only original building standing from the old Coliseum mall.

There was one at Coliseum Mall in Hampton, VA and then the quentissential Downtown Richmond store

There was one at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh and one at the then-newly expanded Cary Towne Center in Cary. Also, I thought the movie theater at Northgate was a Belk.
