I forgot mentioning CURVED AIR's Francis Monkman's piece The Dawn Of An Era from his 1980 album ENERGISM (on Schiulze's IC label).It has a striking similarity with Vangelis' Pulstar which might have inspired Monkman. From the IC catalogue I'd also like to recommend amazing Clara Mondshine's MEMORYMETROPOLIS from '83(unluckily) shortened by IC for cd releaesed on combined set with her 1st album LUNA AFRICANA.Thanks for sound files GualdAnubis.Are these from tv or audience?

This is the live performance that I wanted to hear from Vangelis. I read abaut his concerts from early 80's. I hope to to see one of his concert's recorded in that period of time.

I understand why some artists like him prefer to concentrate in the stuido instead of playing to a yelling crowd that sometimes forgets about the need for silence for this kind of music.I hear VANGELIS doesn't have a long touring list?Another great musician into electronic music I hear a lot is ex HAPPY THE MAN keyboardist Kit Watkins.HTM and him have made great albums.Tim Blake, Francois Breant,Jean-Philippe Rykiel and Larry "Synergy" Fast are also great though different from the greak master.

Wow, it's amazing to listen to Vangelis in true live. Till now I've only found the Rotterdam concert which was in playback, Mythodea in where the synths were almost unhearable, and many improvs, but this is the clue of Vangelis' magic in lives, too!

I'm looking forward to see Vangelis live some day (yeah, it's very hard T.T)
