Thanks, Scott! I don't have any family locally, but every year the Unitarian church I attend has a Thanksgiving potluck, so I'll be among friends. You have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanks, Moosie. Yes, my recovery has been a gift. I don't know how long that is for, but I will treasure it for as long as I have it. One thing is certain. It opened my eyes to what's truly important to me.

What, you didn't think I'd stick with it? I don't give up on things, especially when it's for a cause I believe so deeply in.

I'd like to, but there's a little problem with that. The only camera I had that could take video and wasn't tethered to my computer was killed by Rhumbah last summer as I was filming lightning storms (she knocked it off the shelf and it landed on the lens). I don't have a camera I can do that with. If I can, I'll get a new one and a bike mount for it, but funds are tight for me too right now, so I don't know if that will happen or not.

At one time, I probably would have been able to participate in such a race. I was very agile and in shape when i was younger. now i'm about 80 pounds overweight, and of course have other health issues now. I commend you for what you are doing. I wish i could support. "darn economy"!! Any more, just paying bills is challenge enough. I hope you do well.
