I am a Canadian and we have a legislated bill C-68 for all firearms to be registered.I have a Possession and Acquisition license for both long guns and hand guns.All these programs will not hinder criminals at all,we can not bare arms for self protection here but lets face it,if it came down to my life or the criminals who want to kill me then I may need to protect myself with equal force afterwords I will be brought to trial,convicted and locked up,good by firearms.

the fac that they have now made it so you have to register a hunting rifle is ludicrous. It is totally absurd. They always claim it is for fighting crime, but that is a pretense that does not stand up to a moments criticism. Think about it, if you want to murder someone, just go get a gun ILLEGALLY. then you have no problems with the records. Gun registration is ALL ABOUT controlling the people. not Crime.
