In this video, two steam charters on two days are seen in the South East. First is ex-LMS 8F No. 48151, seen at Headcorn, Kent, working 'The Cathedrals Express' from Alton to Canterbury West on Sunday 19th June 2011. Then it's 34067 Tangmere, an ex-SR Unrebuilt Battle of Britain class, seen at Rye and Etchingham in East Sussex, and also working 'The Cathedrals Express', but a circular version that saw it start and finish at London Victoria, on Tuesday 21st June 2011.

Great stuff. 48151 was going really well and wow Tangmere absolutely hurtled past you at Etchingham. You captured a sight and sound of the 1950's . That's a like. I filmed 48151 at Feltham and Tangmere at Clpaham High Street. Not as dramatic as yours but both engines going well. Appreciate a look.

As always great clips. The 8F was moving fast through Headcorn.I was there and was delighted with the noise she was making.I am in your clip walking back towards the footbridge after she had gone through.Tangmere was showing a fair turn of speed as well.Thank you.
