A Few Important Questions:

1. About How Many businesses did you give that letter, and what types of businesses?

2. Did those businesses put out donation jars or just give you money?

3.Around what month did you apply to scholarships and when did the acceptance letters come in?

4. Are there any other great fundraising ideas?

5. Is it hard getting a scholarship?

IM HOPEFULLY GOING TO JAPAN NEXT SUMMER IF I GET THAT SCHOLARSHIP! SO I'M GONNA START RAISING NOW!

@lashayclay1 1. About 10-15 Businesses. Basically EVERY Place I Could Think Of (Family Owned Businesses-90% of profits, Ect.)

2. Just Sent Me The Money

3. I Applied In November & Was Notified In May

4. Ask For Donations Online and With Family Members (distant ones as well)

5. I really can't say! Lol, Depends on how many people apply and how well you write you essays!

Don't ask for donations until you get a scholarship FOR SURE! Raise Money For Now By Selling Things Like Candy or A Part Time Job.

@lashayclay1 Raise On You're Own For Now. Get A Part Time Job, Sell Candy, Make Youtube Videos. If You Accept Donations Now, What Will You Do If You Don't Get A Scholarship? And They Give You More Than 2 Weeks If You Ask. Just Get What You Can Up, Have Your Donation Letter Ready & As Soon As Your Accepted Give Them Out. If They REALLY Want To Donate They'll Donate Before You Leave. One Company Sent Me $350 A Week Before I Left.

@luvjapan6574 Japanese Guys Are Shy As HECK. One Used to talk to me a BUNCH about old Hip Hop artists like Brandy 50 cent 2 pac EVERYTHING. I was like "i love you" he was in my class but quiet! Some boys didn't have a problem with talking to me. One cute one said hey to me everytime i saw him. I had a tiny crush on him too. haha, then again the school i was at was 80% girls.
