A Song for two Tails ~ My pet rats Altair and Rufus

This is a tribute to my lovely rat boys Rufus and Altair, with many cute videos and pictures. ^.^ It shows the adventurous life of my guys from the age of one month to two and a half months (Altair, the black and white hooded rat) and one and a half to three month (Rufus, the agouti hooded rat).

Rats are amazing pets. They are loving and intelligent and every rat has its unique character. Especially Altair can be very cuddly, and both of the boys love to climb around on me.

The song is Shippo no Uta (meaning "Song for the Tail" in Japanese, isn't that perfect for a rat video? ^^) by Maaya Sakamoto. The music for the credits is "Simple Truth" by Thomas Newman from The Horse Whisperer OST.

Sadly, Altair and Rufus have passed away. I miss them so much, they were amazing rats and great friends for me. I'll never forget you!

@HammyTheHamster127 They lived in their cage, but they need to spend time outside. The more places they have to explore, the better, because rats are extremely curious. It's so much fun to play with them!
