Sheikh Ahmed Muhammed Awal is a scholar on Islamic science and comparative religion. He attended Kumasi Technical Institute, Ghana. Sh. Awal also graduated from Kadawa College of Irrigation in Kano Nigeria. He then furthered his course at Kaduna Polytechnic, college of Environmental Studies in Kaduna state Nigeria. Sh. Awal is currently the director of ZDI with head-quarters in Seattle Washington state. He is also the founder/member of Islamic Science Propagation Center International ISPCI, Seattle WA. He is also the dawah director of south Seattle Islamic Center SSIC, Seattle, WA. USA.
Sh. Awal has acquired skills necessary to present the comprehensive message of Islam to especially non-Muslims. His profound knowledge on science and the Bible coupled with logical approach in presenting Islam is only a mercy from Allah. Sh. Awal has presented Islam in numerous dialogues, public lectures, debates, symposiums etc. He also teaches Islam monthly at a Jesuit catholic institute in Seattle, WA. He also lectures on Islam and science in colleges, universities and various institutions across the continental USA, Canada, and Africa etc. He is also a permanent guest on the fame program ISLAM AND SCIENCE, which airs on metro TV, Ghana. He is also a frequent guest on many am/fm stations in Ghana and Nigeria.
Sh. Awal is also the presenter on the program SCIENCE IN ISLAM in Kano, Nigeria. In Kano he established a dawah training center where over 100 students have completed part one program. @ritchloui yeh i talked about this before they were claiming that muslims did all this scientific discoveries, but actually when looking a little more found out these scientists had muslim names and lived in islamic states but clearly didn't believe in allah or muhammad. It says in their books, 'that I don't in muhammad's claim of prophethood nor believe in their god', etc...

So these seem to be false claims made by ignorant muslims. Muslims spend so much time reading the quran they seem to..

@islam6429 One of the points I keep constantly making. The ONLY progress that Islam claims for itself is from the civilisations that were ALREADY advanced when they were invaded. Islam exploited what it could, destroyed what it was threatened by and guess what? Progress ended 1,000 years ago. Despite such a huge head start, these civilisations fell silent under the Islamic jackboot and have suffered tyranny ever since. Islam has NOTHING to be proud of; its ignorant clerics create hell for all.

@islam6429 More books have been translated into Spanish (let alone English) in the last year than into Arabic in 1,400 years. That's the level of ignorance I'm talking about. Tell you what, suggest some Arab music and poetry or stories (translated obviously) and I'd love to follow it up. Especially the music.

@islam6429 The reason Arab authors quote the Koran is that it was shoved down their throats from birth and, of course, it helps further their career. Sorry mate, but the rest of humanity has managed to move on into the 21st century. If you prefer to stick to the grim ideology of an ignorant and barbaric warlord from the 7th century, more fool you. But, of course you'll use your computer (no Islamic contribution whatsoever to the knowledge and technology there) and your mobile, your car. etc.

also if u get involve with the arabic language you'll know that the quran is the most and the best of the arabic n authors, poets n writers quote the quran in their master piece n i can't help you realize that if your ignorant.
