The best part of a stick car is you could have a shitty day at the track, but youll get that one guy that comes up to you and says "Its a stick car?" or "You were jammin like a mo fo" even on a crappy night, it makes the ride home that much better.

this what i love about the south, all these little drag strips and people seem to come out of nowhere with these incredible homebuilt cars, bikes, snowmobiles etc.

I love the 4-Speed Gear Jammers. They are so fun to watch. And like the high winding small blocks. Back in 06 at Bristol, they was running the Gear Jammers and the guy in the tower said some of the cars actually rev to almost 10k+ RPM. One 66 chevelle w/ a 327 was revving so high it sounded like an electric motor lol.

I'm pretty sure Lone Combs, which owns this 57 also owns a red 62 Impala SS convertible called "The Ton Honey".
I have a magazine with that car on the cover pulling the wheels off the ground.
I also have a clip of it at the strip.

i can't imagine how much force it takes to lift the front end of that heavy bastard , but it sure does it

No doubt, and that car is all steel along with the big chrome bumpers.
