mSR New Brushless Motor Test

Well time to reduce the weight of my Dual Brushless mSR, so I hunted down this new motor the ADH30S-7500, 7500KV 2.6gm and using a 10T pinion.
This motor is achieving the same power as my previous setup but less weight and lower current draw which means lighter batteries and lighter heli.

When I watched this (as you know) I laugh so hard I had tears.

The fact that you had to tape the scales down really cracked me up.

@zipadi yeah I shorted the power supply so many times because it was moving the scales and the wires were getting crossed... lol

I would recommend having the rotors thrust down towards the table rather than lifting. (Air blowing towards the ceiling) Your rotor is in ground effect but the downwash is also impinging upon the scale giving you a false reading.
