U strip the block and u give it a proper wash!
Did u even check the warpage on the block deck and cylinder head??

Good video, but you should never, ever mount an aluminum head on an iron block without resurfacing the head. Specially boosted engines. Good job though.

How do you know the notch on the bearing points toward the intake. Im assuming it says in the bentley manual. Im about to build a VRT and Im going to be using the manual. Just wanna make sure it says these little things in it. If it does then no worries.

i believe the tang direction pays regard to the rotational direction of the motor.
my bently didnt state that detail...the 1.8t motors with tanged bearings happened to be that way...so i did the same
