@huskerdaisy fleshly desires.. (I could not leave this without a comment)... that sounds like something found on chick-fil-A menu.. (and given that company's pentecostal background it would make sense).. So Satan made use of Chris's "fleshy desires" .. it is absolutely amazing that still tug on that crap.. sadly christianity (at least in your form) is highly detrimental for society...

I found this video very powerful. I am a religious person with a strong commitment to interfaith dialogue and pluralism. I couldn't agree more with the sentiments expressed by Chris. I also long for a day when religious people (of all backgrounds) and the non-religious will be more open to peaceful interaction.

We've ALL sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rm 3:23). We all struggle against our own flesh, it wasn’t "cosmic irony" for Chris to "realize" he was "gay" upon giving his life to Jesus, it was satan using Chris' own fleshly desires against him. But Jesus said, "If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." Mat 6:24. We all struggle with sin and we all have a choice to either follow our flesh, or follow our Lord and Savior. We can’t do both.
