Funny; she is getting my vote because Hillary is NOT on the Democrat ticket. I'm glad I found out about her; her platform is wonderful and she is a courageous and compassionate candidate. I hope she will run until she wins.

What is not Smart is voting for a corrupt zionist internationist based only on the fact that the man is black. I will smack anyone who speaks of voting on for a president for skin color or sex or religious creed. The country deserves honest votes if we want to excel. Vote for the good person regardless of chances or popularity. Maybe if everyone voted honestly we would actually see entire states overwhelmed by a third party. I really don't mind as long as we the people have liberty.

It's NOT SMART to forget about the electoral college. If you live in a state like NY which so dominated by Dems in federal elections or Texas which is so dominated by Reps, your vote for Greens helps move the national discussion in a more productive direction AND if the McKinney obtains 5% of the national vote the Greens become a major party nationwide like the Dems and Reps. Also, GPs in many states gain or maintain ballot access for the Green option in some states with 1% to 5% of the vote.

What is NOT SMART is not to take into account the electoral college. IF McKinney gets more than 5% of the vote nationwide, the Greens become a major party and people will have more choice. If you live in a state like New York state which has voted as much as 80% Democratic, don't waste your vote on Obama but rather vote to support another voice and drag the national political conversation in a more productive direction. Also, in many states, the GP would gain ballot access with enough votes.

It's NOT smart for blacks to waste votes on someone who has no chance of winning. Voting for McKinney as great as she is, is ignorant of voting and irresponsible. Voting for McKinney will take votes away from Obama thus leading McCain to a straight victory. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! Voting for McKinney so late in the game will hurt us more than help us. We should raise her up in 2012 not now. McCain will win for sure if we use our votes on her and not on the one of us who can win--which is OBAMA-2008!

Nader can bash the two-party system all he wants, but by running for an intolerable third time he can only destroy the good name of all alternate party candidates, therefore contributing directly to the monster he pretends to be confronting! Kids these days, right? My ass! Take a page from your son and support the only candidate that has already risked everything for real justice for real people that will continue to prevail. Cynthia McKinney is the only true hero of ALL candidates all over!!

I agree, living in a state with very strick and unfair ballot access laws (NC) I doubt it will be easy for either to be on the ballot but I will vote for whoever is able to get on the ballot and if I have to write one in I just may go with McKinney, after all I AM a Green Party member and perhaps....just maybe...I need to think long term, eh?

Did not know Ms. McKinney was a "multi millionaire" but I do approve of her voting record and ideals. Do not know of her presidential leadership ability; but she will get my vote if the Clintons are on the Democrat ticket.
I have great respect for Ms McKinney, however I'm voting Nader/Gonzalaz. my son is supporting McKinney but what can ya do with kids these days, eh?...at least he's not a democrat.

If only the general public would appreciate that they have two good choices, neither is Dem or Rep.
McKinney though is working to building an enduring political party that will continue to win more and more local elections.
We need to build institutions that change society.

She's just your average multimillionaire.

I'd think you'd find out otherwise on both "average" and "multimillionaire."
She was a teacher, not a lawyer nor a business person, before being elected to the Georgia State Legislature.
