ARABIAN SEA (Jan. 5, 2012) A visit, board, search and seizure team, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100), board the Iranian-flagged fishing dhow Al Molai. Kidd's visit, board, search and seizure team detained 15 suspected pirates, who were holding a 13-member Iranian crew hostage for the last two months, according to the members of the crew. Kidd is conducting counter-piracy and maritime security operations while deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. (U.S. Navy video/Released)

piracy is different. pirates usually dont attack giant naval vessels, they usually attack small yachts and privately owned ships. they ARE a threat, to everyone in the indian ocean

Iranian fishermen are not enemies of America. This is real. There are also photos. This is just a clip of video taken from a helicopter that reported the situation after they noticed a skiff tied to the back of it.

The Persian Gulf is the area contained past, north-west, of the the Straits of Hormuz, the water east of Saudi Arabia, west of Iran and south of Kuwait and Iraq.

The Arabian Sea is the water directly outside of the Straits of Hormuz. Its South of Iran, Oman, Parts of Pakistan and some of Yemen.
