Stylin UP Regional Big Trip 2007 - PART 1

The Stylin' UP Regional Big Trip is the annual five day journey to Brisbane for young people who have been part of the Stylin' UP Regional program throughout the year.

In 2007, more than 100 young people from Cherbourg, Woorabinda and Logan, with carers from their communities, participated in workshops, rehearsals, cultural and arts activities in the build up to the Stylin' UP Festival (held on the last Saturday in May each year).

Over the five days, young people were encouraged to express themselves, network with young people from other communities, share stories with each other and build upon the skills they have been developing all year during workshops with SpeakOut's artsworkers.

At the festival, attended by some 15,000 people, young people performed group and solo material and participated in dance competitions.
