That's interesting. What is amazing is that despite the chip not being used as the cpu of machines anymore it is however used as a general processor in many modern devices and its almost everywhere. :-) I'm happy with my current desktop machine, that is based off an AMD Athlon II 620 but I keep finding myself going back to emulation of getting one of the machines out and using the software there because its more fun.
@thelleht Weren't the 030, 040 and 060 just simply high clocked version of the 68000? Or did they contain extra instruction sets? I think you can emulate a Falcon sort of by simply using Falcon version of TOS and upping the emulated processor speed.

@deepblue69uk The 68020 up were modifications of the 6800 core, but with each version they could process more instructions per clock cycle.

@thelleht If you want 030 emulation - go and check Hatari. It emulates F030 to some reasonable level.
