The problem with Smid's fighting is he doesn't know when he has a guy lined up... he's often got a clear shot but he goes to grab and switch hands instead. He totally over powered Iginla in that fight, he's obviously way stronger than him, but he failed to capitalize on that much. Kudos to Iginla for hanging in against a slightly bigger and much stronger guy.

poor Iginla.... works his ass off carrying his worthless team on his back and they cant even help him out at all.Looks like another 9th place for the flames....The flames Are the worst team in the NHL... Its really terrible what such a shitty organization puts a great player through. Any other team in the nhl would be a better spot for iginla . I would much rather be on the last place oilers team who are making all the right moves for a successful future then the shitty good for nothin flames.
