Star Fox Adventures Speed Run in 4:46:56 - segment 27

i'm pretty sure this is the fastest way to do the puzzle (in terms of when to give the grubtubs to Tricky and when to use the flame command) ... very good segment i think

I was wondering - why not roll more? I haven't played this in awhile, but does the roll increase your speed? Sorta like when I played Ocarina of time, I would roll constantly to get somewhere before I got the warp songs or Epona.

rolling isn't faster than running, that's why i don't do it. There are a few times when i rolling ... going into water, coming out of water, right before a cutscene ... but rolling ultimately doesn't improve your time at all.

@Ergeniz As well as his disability to jump manual (like you go to ledge and you jump automatic if there is other cliff nearly) the way you draw your weapon, and item select almost same way you do in LoZ. *shrug* But Roll move didn't improve his speed, like Link could in all games.

Ah okay. Like I said, I hadn't played in awhile, and this game is basically Legend of Star Fox: Dinosaur Planet (lol) so I was just wondering if the roll performed similarly.
