how do you do that so the texture just shows up on the text and not everywhere else ? im still learning ;) please tell me it would help me out greatly !

You open the texture in a new layer above the text, and you set the blend mode to overlay or soft light (depending on which looks best) and then you hold ALT and click on the line between the texture layer and the text layer. Hope it helped :)
