Day Of Decision Prop 8 Upheld Shame on You CA

Today the California Supreme Court came out with their ruling on prop 8. We couldnt sit home and wait for the news to come over the tv/radio so we got the kids up early, jumped in the car, and drove to San Francisco. The ruling came out in a leaflet. They didnt even have enough respect to send someone to anounce it in person. Shame on you Califronia and the six judges who feel that gay peoples rights aren't worth protecting. Now the people of California will be voting on this issue for years to come. Worse, who is next to have their civil rights voted on? 50% + 1 can now take away rights from a minority in Ca.

Marriage belongs to all of us sir and not all of us view it as a "temptation".  Just because you have chosen to reject your natural feelings...that does not make me rediculous for embracing mine and chosing to celebrate that in marriage.

I have watched so many of your video's and I have laughed with you guys so much....and you have destroyed my "hollywood and religious opinions" of gays, so much that I realize I never knew anything. I don't know why I have searched so much for the truth lately, other than to hope God will use me to help someone. But, tonight my I cried as my heart broke for each person on that video and the unjustic that so many of you have to face each day. I am a christian, but one who loves.

I'm so glad you made this! I've understood how people have struggled for this and know how important it is, but to see how wonderful a family you guys have and to be in the crowd with you made the verdict - now almost two years old - hit me hard. I will hopefully use this to show to those who don't understand the importance of gay marriage and what its effects are; not necessarily to change their mind, but to give them a glimpse of its impact. I'm a male non-gay Canadian student and I thank you.

I though England allowed gay marriage but it is only Civil Partnerships :'(. I know it is good and progress it give us the same rights, but not the same equal status. When i get older if it is still civil I will join anything to get it to be marriage. This video made me cry because how could people be so ignorant and stupid to not let people love and marry who makes them complete and happy, the people worth living for...
