@raredesign yeah rocket candy i have seen that stuff before. there is this guy who makes it will alot of antifreeze, he calls it alien R candy. check it out he uses some unusual and very diy methods in rockeetry.

@JDrockerDUDE Correct. This is just an easy powder pack method. If you take the kn03/sugar mix and bind it with corn syrup (I use karo), and then heat it on low to get a good bind, the stuff is amazing. It has risk of a flash fire while heating it even on low, so be careful. I will hopefully make a good vid this spring. My last one was shot off at night and was crazy fast. I saw that if you mix it with a small amount of antifreeze, it stays pourable longer. Check out R-Candy or Rocket Candy.

@warecreepers yes and no. Aluminium was in discussion pre '50s for the periodic table of elements by European scientists that thought the sound was more fit with the other metals. Aluminum is more popular in the US, but either is acceptable.
