this spell is great for teams with a tank, so you can focus on casting while he keeps em busy.

Overkill much? The spell isn't truly worth it considering the amount of mp used to cast and the cast time. It's mostly a flashy spell, good for that time when you show off and rape millions of mobs at a time but that's pretty much all it's good for. If SE would have made it a little more efficiet MP wise it would be considered a superb nuke spell

BST is best for solo or SMN or PUP (with good gear) RDM NIN BLU DNC DRG come latter on.
best dmg hmm SAM or BLU (considering you have the MP to keep it up) closely followed by Mnks, thf atm are more of a "Hey THF we need your treasure hunter for this NM" and eventually a "Hey pull the hate back into the tank", as for dmg nealy any DD can out dmg them, same for blms, high dmg but they cant keep up with constant Dmg + high dmg ws

its a strong spell but bad thing about 1000 needle its has long cast and can be interupted very easy with ichi or ni to maintain block while casting.

Almost not worth casting if you ask me. How long it takes and how much MP it takes up is rediculous, only thing it would be worth casting on is multiple mobs that are Easy Prey. But here's one question, how many EP mobs do you know with around say 500HP at the level you manage to obtain that spell? Probably not many, I bet cool down takes long too?
