oh, and Randy Johnson once walked 150+ batters one year when he was younger. takes time for these tall lanky high velocity lefties to settle down into the strike zone. Andrew Miller. Randy Johnson. Oliver Perez.

looks like an upgraded Oliver Perez to me. a bit wild but when he throws strikes hes very hard to hit. gets a lot of people to swing at bad pitches. is a very difficult pitcher to hit against because you are always afraid you are gonna take one off the melon. Reminds me of Randy Johnson. Although, Randy Johnson is a Hall of Famer, this kid has proven nothing. will be fun to see him pitch and I hope he has a long career and doesn't experience arm problems like Volquez.
