Greatest anime ever. Period.

@venture790 It is indeed an impressive anime, but it surely needs a certain degree of patience at the beginning and an overall mature attitude to fully comprehend it. If you like political intrigues, space battles with more strategic analysis than pure action and a very deep, especially for the main characters, character development you'll surely like it. I'm 2/3 through it and I can't stop watching altough I can't deny a little headache from the language mix in my head hehe.Hope you'll consider

@Belwaer You should start the LoGH franchise by watching the movie "My Conquest is the Sea of Stars". That will make things a lot easier for you, especially if you watch the "Overture to a new war" immediately afterwards. If you watch these two movies first, the Main OVA will become a lot more accessible.

I know I'm late responding but if you like that kind of stuff watch the original Gundam series (not the newer lame shit like Wing, Seed, etc. Watch the 0079 movie trilogy, then Zeta Gundam,, then Stardust Memory, then Chars Counter Attack since they all correspond). For a more faster paced series check out Gurren Lagann (which is basically like Gundam and DBZ on crack and steroids) and Evangelion. To me these are some of the best, most thought provoking series ever.
