  • I haven't used the device personally, but I did notice you had a live wallpaper as well as like 6 notifications which means you had alot in the background, is it a little quicker if you task manage it more? Obviously I would get the more powerful version though.

  • @doorgoo With these things turned off it slightly improves performance. Things constantly crash on it and occasionally the android part doesn't boot, and you need to hit reset at the back.

  • It has a gps sensor but it seems to only work over wifi tethering. I would not recommend this model as i have not found where i can update it to 2.2 and put navigation on it, its using google maps rather than navigation.

  • Yes It is slow, there is a 2.2 froyo model coming out next year it will look better.

    Better CPU also.

This is a no name brand one. I purchased it from erisin.com

  • @JippyFargo where did you find this unit for 295.00

  • @JippyFargo Thanks for answering. I'll have to do some more research and testing on the new version, but I'm pretty sure I'll get it even if that means rooting and tweaking it myself.

  • @JippyFargo

i do know the screen is fairly dark, pretty useless unless you have good window tint, or its night time. if you've got the 1Ghz 512mb ram tablet version, the es777a, it should be fine, the old one though, wouldhave sucked. i think the main things they need to do to this thing is make the screen brighter, boost volume for DVDs and Bluetooth, and give it capacitive touch screen

  • @cameron20020 Recently I was driving on a 10 hour drive, and my mate was watching a movie on it, and it was unwatchable, also the sound for some reason was really low, could of been the movie but was pretty bad. Yeah I got mine for $295.00... I didn't know it could run angry birds, i'll install it

  • @cyndersheat I got one just recently.. pretty good but for people thinking of buying, heres the cons: -needs brighter screen for sunlight -definatly needs capacitive touchscreen, the resistive one is a little -bluetooth hands free volume needs to be louder -needs hardware home button BUT theres pros: -the usb OTG port on the tab is powerfull. it even managed to power an external 2.5" hard drive -Decent CPU and ram (plays angrybirds and flash 11) -very good price for what you get!
  • 1:20 to skip through the useless bullshit

  • does the pad of this unit have bluetooth capibility??

i know the car radio does. i have read that the pad has no bluetooth function at all when removed from stereo.

i have a bluetooth card obd reader and the android torque app requires bluetooth communication.

so does the Pad of this unit have bluetooth for communication and headset??
