@platinumloco So your saying bipolars a myth but it can be treated by GOD who know one has actually ever seen.

@dgenerated : You're an immature weakling. Bi polar doesn't exist and please stop whining.
-
There's no such thing as bi polar. It's just a made up "disease" to excuse weak-minded people for acting stupid.
A good smack in the face will cure these idiots.

@2Noodles100 Friend..But what as if in MY case were you ALSO abused, molested, etc!?...It would take OUR disorder and drive you into the fucking GROUND!!...You would not want it!..And yes..Some of us are just born with a chemical imbalance!..That coupled with abuse makes life...HELL!! =[

I had an awful, abusive, molested, shit past, of junkie and booze ridden indulgence and a broken family!,,I am now on my own choosing therapy and bi polar med's...It is NOT a joke!...I have an IQ of 150 and I am a fucking MESS!!..I can hardly function!..Those like myself NEED support!! =[

Bipolar disorder has nothing to with neglect or abuse. I have been diagnosed bipolar when I was a teen. My parents were loving and nurturing and have helped me my whole way through college. I have a great family, a great education, and a mood disorder.

it is genetic this is the most plain thing to understand about the dna messup in the code handed down from the mothers side of the family it comes from her father or the grandfather usually!!! a family can not have hundreds of mental illness casses in the same family and it not be gentics give me a frekin break!!!

@sweetelesue You're saying heredity has absolutely nothing to do with it, that there's no genetic factors at all? Can you provide some references that support your statement?
wow..sad..i'm bipolar and honestly i think i'm a great person..the disorder simply handicaps me and makes me unable to have normal relationships...i feel alienated and paranoid around people and i definately have spouts of mania..and of course the depression follows...maybe you should meet someone who actually has the disease..then you wouldnt be so harsh..

Thank you CBS for airing the issue of bipolarity. We need less stigma more compassion and research.
