  • @504Anon Its not distribution of wealth that's the problem, its the well connected people that use government to prop up their businesses. If every billionaire were a Steve Jobs there'd be a lot less complaining. Raise taxes on the rich and they just leave. No one wants to stay in a state with huge budget problems and politicians eager to take more and more.

  • California has problems? Seems to us the whole of US is totally ok. Oh well, at least they are still part of the first world country. They'd probably bounce back sooner than later.

  • The problem is DISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH.

    Los Angeles is the epicenter of movies, TV, music, porn & magazines... People aren't heavily buying that stuff anymore because it's mostly free on the internet. The industry CEOS and shareholders aren't going to take a cut, the cuts come from the bottom- the working class and those they so charitably support. Case closed.
