A few of the many exercises I run in my martial arts training. All the exercises I try to do are towards functionality in my mma / kung fu / martial arts training. Building on core strength, fitness, cv, power, multi joint compound movements and more.

  • Honestly what i like to do in my functional training (this is sometimes) take something heavy and perform different exercises like squats or imitate a takedown with something heavy, so it builds my power over time. For Example a sandbag, I perform the takedown from start to finish with a nice heavy sandbag, due to its "weird shape" i would have to balance it, and make my body work alot to take it down... I hope you know what I mean. In your opinion does that work fine?

  • I know what you mean definately. Sand bag training is brilliant! Kettlebells are awesome too.

  • good stuff..check my vids out and lets compare workouts

  • dude, I liked your push up sets video. nice!
