@vicious6 Thanks bud, actually its tore down right now get the new engine back friday of this week, a 383 fullyforged stroker race built bottom end little beefier top end and 200 shot of nitrous, should be pushing about 700 hp or 900hp with n20 then, i hope it sounds the same though, i bought some tips, im going to run the exhaust out in front of the back tires

Thanks for uploading this video it was insightful. That cam made a huge difference in sound, I am thinking about putting a cam in my 96 but unsure, I don't want my MPG to get cut in half because I must use my LT1 to go to and from school/work, it is a M6, and I do get around 22mpg now and I am loving it just don't want to go back to getting the same MPG as my 4.3 00 blazer!! lol because it gets about 12-14mpg on a good day.

@l91camaroz28l well all parts came from Thunder Racing and I purchased a cam kit 1600+-, 92 and earlier timing gear + mazier elec. wpump, ls7 lifters not included in the kit, had the heads ported/shaved and 212 valves installed, and the dang gasket kit for an LT1 is outrageous but that was the 3500. Thats not including the new Torque Converter and Flywheel, Ignition and Computer Tuning from PCM4Less. Im sure i'm forgetting something but thats most of it!

@transamboss what all did you do to the top end for that amount of cash? cuz you can get all the springs,rockers,retainers,push­rods,studs,guideplates, and a cam for around 1200. aftermarket or ported heads would put you close to 3500. but for just a cam thats alot just in parts
