Like My Father Before Me

yayy I managed to find the full screen format!! *does a happy dance*

This video is the product of my COL, which is the Compulsive Obsessive Laziness syndrome that hit me in these days when I had absolutely no will to study...Easter holidays were really bad for my concentration!! :D
I was inspired to make this video after seeing "Remember Who You Are" by the always-amazing LeahMarie624 (check her channel! http://www.youtube.com/user/LeahMarie624 ), which is an instrumental vid with the soundtrack from Beauty and the Beast (how much I love that cartoon!!). After seeing that, I started thinking about my fave Disney soundtracks...and when I thought of Mulan I knew I had to vid sthg to its music, it's too good!
And what else could I vid for my first all-intrumental vid? but SW of course!! =D
Basically, the video follows Luke Skywalker's journey to discover the ways of the Force and also the truth about his past. (for once simple plotline! xD)

What an absolutely brilliant creation! I have never seen the essence of Star Wars presented so sublimely. Many see the surface of Star Wars or sadly discard sci fi as distraction. Your showing the story's core in a stream this way is the film as it plays in my imagination that I carry with me in my life. So thank you for doing what you love ... it feeds us all! The Force is with you. :)

@energybengt *O* oh my God! Thank you SO much, this must be one of the loveliest comments I’ve ever received! I completely agree with what you said, and that’s pretty much the same way I feel about SW, so many people underappreciate it or dismiss as “just an action movie”, or only see the special effects, so it’s always a joy to find some other person who looks beyond that and actually gets the sense of the story. I’m so happy that we’re gonna see all of it at the cinemas again! :)

The product of LAZINESS you say? O_o No matter how hard I work on my vids, they're not ANYWHERE near as good as this "product of laziness" xD You keep amazing me. Making a good vid with instrumental music is harder than with songs I guess, but you did a perfect job. Love the use of lines from the movie and the flashbacks from prequels, and well, the vid shows Luke's entire quest, all important details.
