Many candidates will turn to campaign reform while they run for an office, but here (speaking of the presidential race), is there any point in advocating a reform that has little chance of taking hold before the the election? And once elected by the system as-is, why would an administration ever advocate real reform?

of course! better to air out the state of our election system, and the dismal level of voter participation in America BEFORE an election rather than after one when problems and ex post facto accusations and critiques arise about the way and day we voted. while no laws may change before 2008 to make sure voting is mroe accessible, every vote counts and every vote is counted, at least we can get people talking about change. -jacob

Actually, my politics professor told me that in the last election cycle, ALL campaigns put together was 5 billion dollars, that is an extremely small percentage of the budget and you wouldn't need a tax hike, but we should be paying for this war now and not force people like me and my friends in college to pay for it.

He's good and i find myself agreeing with him quite a lot in the Debates and in videos as this one.

Having said that, I favor Hillary but he would be a good choice as well.
