As a person of color, I thought this was a cute, well done opening...
I've been a musical fan of Hanks for years...the guy really does have talent and has learned from some of the greats...His dad, Hank Sr, would take him over to Chubby Checkers house, as a kid, to learn piano...to learn the 'boogy oogy' part of soul you hear in his songs...
Hanks ok with me, he also attended the funeral of Walter Payten, the black QB, when he died a few years back...
