@skylark4k Unfortunately, there are people out there who proclaim themselves as skeptics and ridicule, discriminate, and put down things that they don't believe in. These type of people are in fact, pseudo-skeptics masquerading as skeptics. A true skeptic does not ridicule, discriminate, and put down things that they don't believe in, but rather investigate with an open mind, search for the truth, and willing to change its mind based on conclusive evidence. That's what skepticism is all about..

@skylark4k I strongly agree that the absence of evidence is not evidence of the absence and that scientific concepts aren't always right. In fact, many scientific concepts in the past that were prevalently accepted as true in the scientific community were either rejected or modified based on new empirical evidence. Unfortunately, some people take everything in science too seriously, which can easily lead to special pleading on phenomena that contradicts well-established scientific concepts.

2/2 was Nina Kulagina. thou there is rather much debate on this matter, but plainly denying something bcause one does no believe it is possible leaves no place for further observation. and in the end science still has much more research to do on matters concerning the human mind ( pk and other abilities are included)

@angelsssssssssssss maybe not all cats eat fish but under certain conditions if there is the oportunity they will most likely eat fish. back on topic it's just as TheScurvyNinja said absence of proof ≠ proof of absence. beside that, science ISN'T ALWAYS RIGHT and i think history can confirm that and. thou cases that can, more or less, confirm the existence of pk or other psychic power are very scarce. the soviets conducted experiments in this field and one person attending those experiments 1/2

....I never heard that time travel is possible and time travel has nothin to do with life on other planets, if scientists doubted life on other planets in a seemingly infinate universe then they are ignorant and scientists. Scientists are supposed to know math right? so what is the prbability that earth is the ONLY planet with life on it in the universe or even more specifically in our galaxy, as for time travel there is no way to say yes or no so I doubt scientists believe such things
