  • @xenon1919 SCBA not SCUBA lol

  • @xenon1919: It's possible it was re-staged. The pants of the suit are held up with suspenders. When they are removing the coat, the pants are not on him and you can see the firefighter's duty pants. How could the pants have been removed before removing the coat? Newtex uploaded a suiting procedure video that explains the procedure.

  • @ncapsul8x I'm pretty sure that wouldn't have been a concern. They can easily just cut that bit from the tape if it terned out he was injured. As for why no SCUBA? Well, there's a cut right there. The video punches in as they're unzipping the jacket, so obviously the hood and helmet have already been removed. It just doesn't seem plausible that they would bother re-staging anything here.

  • impressive walk

  • The last part of video where they take the coat off is obviously re-staged. They probably didn't want to tape the actual part where they take the coat off in case things got gruesome. Otherwise, why isn't he wearing his SCBA when they take the coat off?

  • Awesome suit, I'd love to do that!
