  • My poem for Poetry Out Loud

  • she was brilliant

  • Anne Sexton always breaks my heart. Especially "Addict". I agree, her life was tragic and unfair.

  • She did sound depressed. Nice to hear her voice.

Sad that an attractive and talented woman lived such a tragic life.

  • Years ago I adored her work---memorized the lines. In 1973 saw and heard her reading the amazing poems that spoke so intimately to me as a woman. She gave me strength, a voice, also. Then, her suicide. I was angry. Was lost again. It's good to hear her speak once more.

  • She's so great, but was so I'll. I truly feel awful for her children.

  • She sounds so...grunge....

  • She doesn't sound at all like I expected.

  • love her poetry

  • Anne Sexton was amazing, this is excellent poetry :)
