This was one of the very first models of a Columbia Lp player attachment. The tiny unit goes one speed only, and the tone arm actuates the power switch - a very cool machine. This is recorded at line level without the use of a microphone - straight from the original pickup.

I wasn't at all familiar with the Lloyd Price song but I checked it out just now and they're not even similar.

My grandmother who would be 103 if she were still alive used to sing this one while playing the ukelele. She was a hoot!
