I would say that this is electro in its purest form, like Twilight 22's Electric Kingdom or Kraftwerk's Nummern. Electro being short for Electronic funk.. Even looking at bands like Drexiya or AUX 88, they would be classed as Electro ahead of being Techno even though they were released on UR and came from Detroit. Electro is a Genre, and this is a damn fine example of that.
