Thai Kids Idol Auditions 2010: 8-Year-Old Shon Singing 'I'll Be There' by Michael Jackson

Thai Kids Idol is an amateur singing contest created by a bunch of kids in Bangkok, Thailand who share an interest in music. The contest is not a serious singing competition, nor is it a real talent show. We're just a bunch of kids having fun. As aspiring musicians, singers and artists, though, we do hope to hear from other kids around the world, including those in the United States, England, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, China, Hong Kong and India who share a similar love of music.

There are many singing contests and talent shows in Thailand, and below is a list of the main singing competitions which are usually held in Bangkok:

The singing audition featured in this video was performed by 8-year-old, Shon, an Irish Canadian Thai kid living in Bangkok who hopes to compete in some of Canada's own singing contests one day, including:

- Canadian Idol
- BC Junior Talent Search Competition
- Red Robinsons Talent Showdown at the PNE Vancouver
- YTV (Youth Television) The Next Star Competition
- Karaoke Star Junior
- Stratford Idol
- Toronto's Rising Star competition at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE Rising Star Talent)

In addition to Michael Jackson, Shon is a huge fan of Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Usher, Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), Sek Loso, Super Junior, The Jonas Brothers, Bodyslam, Big Ass, and enjoys watching the many contestants who compete on American Idol and Britain's X Factor.

Thai Kids Idol 2010 Auditions is a production of Thai Kids Rock of Bangkok, Thailand (the same bunch of kids).
