no not really, on a really good air cooler you could hit around 4.6/4.7 stable....i have my e8500 @ 4.6gHz with a Coolermaster Hyper Z600

i dont think that able to do 5ghz would need a high vcore air just aint going to keep it cool. On air i would go higher then 1.4-1.45 vcore. Would be able to hit 4.5ghz not sure. Mine is running 4ghz on 1.37v load temp are around 58-60 with prime.

this is a pretty old video but from memory i didnt need more volts for 5.7GHz as i waqs on a really nice CPU.....
dual core CPUs are useless for 3dmark06 though
i've got Bloomfield which is far more impressive for CPU tests in 3dmark06 :)
