Video showing the proper understanding of the Lord's Day in Revelation 1:10. Sunday is the Lord's Day and it was never called the Sabbath. Except by Sabbatarians.

  • correct a fool and he will hate you, correct a wise man and he will love you.

bingolly. the sabbath is not sunday. nor does the bible teach you to worship on sunday.

either you accept it, or you can hate me. but what i said is the truth.

  • @Gods0n1 One can also follow a fool to hell. You have no Bible proof whatsoever. Give me one verse that teaches the OT Sabbath was renewed in the OT. Give me any proof where Christians were ever commanded to keep the OT Sabbath. I suggest you actually show something rather than your ignorance on this subject.

  • Happy Sabbath Bingolly1!

  • Thank you and I will enjoy the Lord's Day Sunday which is the new Sabbath. Glad you see that.

  • yay for the Dies Domini!

  • @Bingolly1, where were Christians commanded by Jesus to keep the first day of the week as Sabbath? “The Bible says, Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day. The Catholic church says, No! By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day, and command you to keep the first day of the week. And lo, the entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic church!” Father Enright, C.S.S.R. of the Redemptoral College, Kansas City, History of the Sabbath, p. 802

  • Only one thing I can say to everyone is that :"DAY CAN'T SAVE YOU" God doesn't look for day and for food u eat but YOUR HEART.

  • Mt.22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

ALL THE LAW, this includes the 4th commandment.

The Lord's day is the day of the Lord, not the 1st. day or the 7th. day. What was John for telling in Rev.?

  • The possessive adjective "Lord" occurs only one other time in the NT when Paul describes the last supper as the "Lord's supper". That was not held on the Saturday Sabbath. That was the highest day of "worship" that Jesus shared with his disciples. If the Sabbath was truly the Lord's day, that supper would have been held on that day, but it wasn't.

  • @Gods0n1 The Sabbath is Saturday but the Sabbath was abolished. The Lord's Day is Sunday but is not the new Sabbath. So, what day is it? Romans 14:5-6 sums it up - 5 One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. 6 He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it.

  • Also, if Saturday was the Lord's day Jesus would have said he's Lord of the seventh day instead of the Sabbath. The Sabbath isn't a day, it's an event (rest) occuring on a day. The word Lord in Revelation is used as an adjective to give a name to that day. If what Sabbatarians claim was true, then the name of the 7th day is now changed to the Lords day, therefore, the Sabbath could not be followed because the "7th" day would no longer exist.

  • Before Cross

Matt 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break ONE of these LEAST commandments, and shall TEACH MEN so, he shall be called the LEAST in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall DO & TEACH THEM, the same shall be called GREAT in the kingdom of heaven.

    After Cross

James 2:10,12 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in ONE POINT, he is guilty of all.

So speak ye, and so do, as THEY that SHALL BE JUDGED by the LAW of liberty.

  • You want a verse, you got it.

"The Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath."-Mark 2:28

"And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the Sabbath day ACCORDING TO THE COMMANDMENT."- Luke 23:56

Jesus' followers kept the Sabbath say even AFTER His death; and we know the New Covenant was sealed on the cross according to Matthew 26:28, meaning the the Sabbath was indeed renewed.

Read 2 Timothy 4:3-4, false teacher!
