Joe's Pov

I couldnt't believe what had just hapend.
I'd just found out that I didn't have a son,
my ex girlfriend had just conned me, and
my best friend was in love with me.
Merry freaking Christmas.

It had started snowing when we arrived
and had picked up a bit. My only
concern was finding Demi. I needed to talk
to her. To straighten things out. To tell her
how I really felt.


"You've got a face for a smile you know.
Ashame you waste it when you're breaking me
slowly. But I've got a world of chances for
you, yeah I've got a world of chances for you.
Chances that you're burning through."

I heard the familiar lyrics coming from the
backyard. "Demi?" I called out. "Go
away." she replied. "Please, I need to talk
to you." I said looking around for her.
"There's nothing to talk about." she said.
I stopped underneath an Evergreen tree
and looked up and saw her sitting on a
branch.

"Please come down so we can talk."
I pleaded. "Don't you have a
wedding to plan?" she asked sarcasticly.

"Only if you'll agree to be my bride."
I said holding my hand up for her to take.
She looked at me surprised but sighed and
took my hand. "Just let me explain."
"Go ahead." she said not meeting my gaze.
I turned her face to mine. "I love you Demi."

"What?!" she said I pulled her in and kissed
her passionatley. It was the best kiss ever.
I pulled away. "And I want to spend the rest of
my life with you. Please say yes."

"Wait, I don't get it." "Demi. I've loved
you forever. I always wanted to tell you how
I felt but I just never knew how. Until now."
"Oh Joe." she said stroking my face with
tears in my eyes. "I've waited forver for
you to say that to me." she smiled. "I love
you."

"So will you Demetira Devonne Lovato
marry me?" I said getting down on one
knee. "Yes. Yes. A million times yes!"
Demi said happily. I kissed her and grabbed
her body spining aher around.


A round of appplause soon started.
We turned around and saw our familes
standing behind us.

"Uh, what are you doing?" I asked.
"Oh just shut up and kiss me again."
Demi said locking her lips with mine.
