e&v=fFpKuziIJTo#t=0s this was uploaded by ozcopper. be careful of buying generic bullion or even known bullion coins. i do have some ASE and canadian wildlife series but more on Junk Silver because you will get more silver on your money.

i always thought that peace dollars were a bit bigger than the morgans, so good info to know. On a side note, did you know that they minted some 1964 peace dollars but none were put into circulation.

@Coins4Cheese Yes but they destroyed them instead of releasing them. The other thing thats strange about peace dollars is they stopped minting them in 1928 and then came back for 1934/1935 and that was it.

yeah peace and morgan have same specs. but i like peace dollar more. probably because of the way it looks. and yes if you buy a morgan or peace and you don't have any caliper and planning to buy morgan or peace just bring an original coin to compare their diameter and thickness. avoid ebay as much as possible and buy from a local coin shop so that you can see the item before buying it.

@TheSilverlover999 thank you for your comment. I always make sure I have a morgan or a peace dollar on me and i try to take my scale with me when i can. I know weight and thickness are not the only methods, but the magnet test and some other things can help. I think thats why most of my rare coins are graded and now im mainly focusing on buying generic bullion from mints. But as far as junk silver goes i really like the morgan and the peace dollars. I also check my change too
