How?..Because I bought it while in Japan.
Why the Japanese version?.. Because I am bilingual in Japanese.

interesting, very interesting. How long have you known japanese? also, which version do you play these days? US or Japanese? I'm playing the US version ofcoarse, and I still can't find anybody to play with..

I have studied at a university and at an intensive language school in Japan for 4 years. I play with the Japanese version... good to keep me from forgetting Japanese, you know. There's always online. I'm sure there are some boards up with people waiting to play. That's how I found people to play with.

ah, well, if you want to jump onto the US version let me know, maybe I can visit your town and vice versa

aah, that's exactly what I was hoping to do (visit a US version of Animal Crossing). However, Nintendo set it up so it's impossible. You can't enter American codes in the Japanese version and vice versa. But I'll be sure to message you when it comes out for Wii!
