  • Holy crap who is encoding the audio this mono is so annoying get some stereo.

  • He said it clearly: Light Peak will be available in 2011 from OEMs.

    No more USB, ethernet, DVI, HDMI, VGA etc. Just Light Peak cables. Awesome.

  • light peak blah blah blah call me when everything is wireless

  • There are some problems:

    You will need to know what cable is for ethernet, the cable in the ethernet port does not work work with your external HDD ;-)

  • What kind of keyboard is that?

  • @abacusasian It has both copper wires and optical fibre. It has power.

  • I really hope to see this in new Macs this coming year. Apple has been putting $ in to light peak and I'd assume it's to push speed and design options for them. Not to mention they may be the first company to offer this new connection.
