don't like the Fast version. This version, which is apparently the first one, is definitely the greatest one the two.
the ambiance, the emotion it spread, is amazing. Give me thrills......
The dark of it, the somber, all that weight, all this emotions, is absolutely more human than the "techno' one .....
love it, and sorry for my bad english, im fr :p

I might have to make "None can change in me these things that I believe, but I don't know what happens now, I am too scared to close my eyes" the startup sound for my computer...the one with the 505W 5.1 surround sound system on it.

@marcabbob as in Japan...... and Australia, Russia, and America fro that matter

For thousands upon thousands of years, Iraqi children will be stillborn, or born with debilitating birth defects, as the result of our use of Depleted Uranium in that country.
Neither those mutilated children, nor their stricken families, will find much succor in a word- even if it be "freedom."
-
They will not be diluted, as long as I continue to remind people of the horrific price of mistakes, such as the Iraq war.
I cannot accept your statements which imply that a dubious end justifies a horrific means. If we allow ourselves to think that way, we will fool ourselves into thinking that we can commit horrific crimes as long as, in the end, we can bandy about empty words like "freedom," and our crimes are instantly forgiven.
-
Understood, but you missed my point. The point was that each year your statements like you just made will be further diluted. In 10 years, we are not going to be talking Bush, Cheney, Haliburton, contractors, corruption, the stealing of our money to fight an unjust war, etc... The fact is that Iraq, although still extremely violent is free. I never agreed with the war, nor do I support the fact that we still have troops there.

Uhh- no.
That blood was shed, so that:
1: Bush Jr could prove to his daddy that he's a MAN.
2: So Cheney's buds in the defence industries would make billions
and 3: So delusional neocon chickenhawks could try to prove their lunatic fantasies.
You might wanna watch something other than Fox...

I saw the video when it was put out in 2004 and it was riveting and I was strongly supportive. I watched it many times over and over throughout the last years. Unfortunately it does not stand the test of time... Each year it is diluted with the fact that the Iraqi people are better off now and dying for freedom is part of being free. The US is the losers as we had to die as well for the freedom of Iraq. It's unfortunate, however, the blood that is shown on the video was for freedom.
This was oddly the first version of this song that I ever heard and as result it's still seen to me as the 'original' track, this song was meant to be slow and somber like this, I love it.

The transition from slow to fast is really, really amazing. Such a great song. =)
