In matters related to God, most people (unfortunately) have the attitude: Don't confuse me with facts, my mind is already made up. Everyone puts their faith in something. Greg and STR are trying to reach as many as possible who have a "belief" in something other than God - and are betting their lives on it!

Again, you didn't adress my point. You just make claims now, about creation etc, without presenting arguments or evidence. What can I say? I don't believe it.

You've probably read one that has very little to no power in it. The word of God is the sharp sword that will destroy all the iniquity of the world when Lord Jesus Christ returns (Rev 19:11-15). It would be best for you to read the word of God that resides in the King James Bible.

I'm sad that you think that way. I hope you change your mind some day.

Those quotes aren't worth anything to me. I have read the bible already. If you are not here to defend your case rationally, then I will leave you alone with your book.

I'm not here merely to debate you for the sake of argument, but to be a witness to the truth. God spoke the universe into existence, I'm going to take his word over the likes of Darwin to Dawkins. And God said he will destroy the wisdom of man (1 Corinthians 1:19).

Mark 13:31 "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away."

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

To summarize your argument: evolution is nonsense, because God said so.

Your case is incomplete, because you haven't demonstrated or proven that there is such a god, and that this god has said such things. You can only show me a book.

It's exactly because of this passage in the word of God as well as many others, that I understand evolution to be an absurdity. Evolution cannot be reconciled with God's order of creation (Genesis 1 makes that pretty obvious). We need not believe a bunch of nonsense to be true when God has plainly laid it out in his word.

That quote is the best you can come up with? Ouch.

And for the record: I don't believe in evolution. I understand it.

Romans 1:20-22 "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that have been made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools."

It's vain imagination to believe in evolution.

I said the comment was ironic, I never said it was necessarily wrong. Actual science (unlike a lot of the "science" done today) works because God created an order-filled universe to show his eternal power and Godhead (since we are made in his likeness). But many hold that truth in unrighteousness because they don't want to be answerable to God. Which is why they cling to being controlled pseudoscience or false religions, thinking that they have liberty in or from them.

That's easy, I can do that too: you have no idea how wrong you are, mate!...

That doesn't really help, does it?

Too bad you didn't really adress my point. To answer your point: I didn't even say that because religion controls people, it disproves the religion, did I?
