If you listen closely, the five notes at the start are the sound of my lungs, heart, and testicles exploding one after the other. THIS is the side of classical music that some people seem to forget when they dismiss it.

The conductor moves with the music as if it comes from within his body! and the drums. just splendid.

really astonishing, not Van karajan ad even not Toscanini.. grandissimo maestro Vandelli.

Except this piece is neither classical, nor baroque, nor opera, its Romantic.
Still this is one of the best performances of this I've seen.
