This may very well be the most drawn-out LP in history. Oh, levels two through five are coming, don't you worry. But it's going to be a while before I can play them well enough to not look like a moron when I record it.

Rick Dangerous 1 is no longer shorter on the Amstrad 6128+...

You should try the moded version my friend Fano did.

It even features the "Whaaaaarg!" samples...

Is the 8 Bit versions of RD2 shorter than the 16 Bit versions, like with the original?

Uh...well, yes and no. Levels 1 and 5 are all intact in this version, but levels 2, 3 and 4 have all had several screens cut out.

Rick Dangerous 1 made me very homicidal... all the unfair deaths. >:( Seriously, there's no way to avoid them. You're climbing down a ladder for example and suddenly a spear comes out of nowhere and kills you.

@DVAFP It is played on a 8-bit computer, Amstrad CPC which was released in 1984. 160x200 pixels 16 colour screen is used.

Ah thanks! Yeah the original's levels were essentially cut in half. Was it really necessary though?
